' students are expected to write an argumentative essay of approximately 600 words. That should include at least two direct quotations and one paraphrase from the texts they will be given. '
' The students should also prepare a bibliography following one of the guidelines: MLA or APA. That is supposed to be done at home.
They are allowed to use English-English dictionaries during the exam.'
These are direct quotations from dr. Wisniewska, the organiser. If you don't know, MLA and APA are standards for academic writing, including references. They are what I have already talked to you about but if you want more information the internet will be happy to help.
I was given the texts for the exams (first and second sittings) after our last class. I shall provide a link to scans of the texts in the next post and you should take it from there. The titles of some of the texts are difficult to read so a full list is provided below. If you have any more questions, write to me, although I don't have any more information than I am now giving you, or to dr. Wisniewska.
